She dreams of her daughter becoming a professional ballet dancer on the grand stage. The mother shows no regard for her daughter’s personal feelings or thoughts. She symbolizes blind expectations, forgetting the true emotional connection between parent and child. The young girl, in her attempt to please her mother, can only seek peace in her imagination. Slowly, she loses herself, and her life becomes no different from that of a “puppet”.
