In early June 2023, the grandmother of one of the group members unfortunately passed away. At the grandmother’s funeral, you could see a little girl who is a relative coming to pay her respects but you don’t understand what a funeral is. From her own feelings about missing her late grandmother and the appearance of the little girl that day, she decided to write the story The Wind Chime: a child’s perspective when a loved one passes away. At the same time, it gives viewers a better understanding of funeral culture in Vietnam, conveying the value of family affection in the grandparents and younger generations.

When a family member passes away, we often remember the memories we had with them, remember the specific items they always carried, or simply remember the times we sat together and ate meals. but filled with love, laughter beneath the sound of wind chimes, all wrapped up in one word “memories”…
